We report on the development of our Sustainability Programme annually in the Sustainability Report, which is prepared with reference to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards and assured by a third party. Nordkalk’s sustainability team is responsible for annual sustainability reporting. The Management Team reviews the Sustainability Report and ensures that all the material aspects are covered. The Board of Directors approves the Sustainability Report.
Nordkalk has published environmental and sustainability-related reports for more than 20 years. Environmental Reports were published up to 2012. Beginning with the 2013 reporting year, Nordkalk expanded the scope of its reporting and started publishing Sustainability Reports instead. The 2013 publication was the first report titled Nordkalk and Sustainability, reflecting a broader approach to environmental, social, and economic responsibility.
