Are you Nordkalk’s new Brand and Communications Director?

As Nordkalk’s current Head of Communications and Marketing is switching to another position within the company, Nordkalk Corporation is looking for a new Brand and Communications Director who will be in charge of Nordkalk’s brand and communications strategy and lead all communications activities in the company focusing on a strong sustainability agenda. S/he ensures alignment with the organization’s overall goals and contributes to company strategy implementation through communications. The Brand and Communications Director collaborates with all levels of the organization and key individuals in order to strengthen the company’s brand and sustainability communications approach. The Brand and Communications Director is a member of the Management team and reports to the CEO. In order to support the brand and marketing communication activities the person will work closely with regional executives and her/his regional communication teams.

Nordkalk is looking for a talented and visionary professional who can develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity, especially from the sustainability angle. The person will be responsible for all Nordkalk’s communications activities and tasks including internal, external and customer communications as well as supporting the investor communications.

To be successful in the position s/he has management experience ideally both from a corporate in-house and communication agency role. A versatile background in communications with emphasis on B2B business and a strong sustainability agenda is appreciated. Experience from listed company communications and P/E portfolio company is considered an advantage. The suitable person has demonstrated experience in managing comprehensive strategic and crisis communications, media relations and marketing programs to advance the organization’s mission and goals. Experience in successfully leading cross border teams will be an advantage.

The person is self-reliant, result oriented and has the ability to make decisions in a changing environment as well as anticipate future needs. S/he has strong leadership, relationship-building and people development skills, with the capacity to engage and develop each individual to their highest potential. The person is fluent in Finnish and English, Swedish is seen as an advantage. Location for the position: The person will travel locally between Parainen, Lohja and Helsinki and across the Nordkalk regions.
