Trap shooting on the sunny Canary Islands
And so the New Year started. I spent the New Years Eve admiring fireworks on the Canary Islands. I continued firing for two more weeks after the year changed and got into a nice start. Of course, one cannot immediately expect only good results, but the good and less good results tend to alternate. Every now and then the shoot went very well, only to be followed by a very lousy round.
During my two weeks on the islands, I shot 375 clay pigeons and only had one day off. Normally I started my working day at 10 am and kept training until around 2 to 3 pm. In addition to shooting, it is also important to exercise, so I did some light running every morning and night. On the islands, I got to practice two weeks in absolutely excellent weather conditions maintaining a good vitamin D level.
Next three weeks at home and then onto the road again.
With best regards,
