New Chairman of the Board for Nordkalk

Bjarne Mitts, President and CEO for Rettig Group Ltd, was elected as Chairman of the Board for Nordkalk. The previous chairman, Björn Mattsson, continues as Deputy Chairman of the Board. Other board members are Morten Ahlström, Leif Lundkvist, Anders Moliis-Mellberg and Christoffer Taxell.

It was decided in the Annual General Meeting that Nordkalk will be changed from a public company to a private company and that the name will be changed from Nordkalk Oyj Abp to Nordkalk Oy Ab (in English Nordkalk Corporation). Nordkalk became a public company in 1999 when it issued a convertible capital loan. The loan was paid back in full in 2004.
